Syed Azhar Abbas Jaffri Takes Over As Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director , HBFC Ltd

Syed Azhar Abbas Jaffri has joined House Building Finance Corporation  Limited  (HBFC Ltd) as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. Mr. Jaffri has 30 years of experience in the Banking /Financial Services Industry. Mr. Jaffri has worked in Asia –Pacific-Australia region and the Middle East for over 18 years of his career, and in Pakistan for about 12 years.

He has worked with multinational banking and financial institutions such as  American Express, Citibank, MasterCard International etc. His latest assignment was SEVP and Group Chief for consumer banking with one of the top five local banks in Pakistan, where he was responsible for setting up the entire Consumer Banking group from a scratch. During the last 30 years, Mr. Jaffri has held various positions within the Financial Services Sector including Operations, Marketing, Credit etc,  and has also managed businesses  in various countries of Asia-pacific and Middle East .

Mr. Jaffri holds a Master’s degree in International Management & Business from American Graduate School of International Management in USA.
