Q. Please tell me how to apply.
A. To apply for HBFC Service Representative,you'll need to fill the online application form or download copy and send through courier.
Q. Where are application forms accepted?
A. Completed applications are accepted and examined by the Outreach Program Committee at HBFC Head Office, Karachi.
Q. Will HBFC charge any fee for applying ?
A. No fee will be charged.
Q. What is the minimum qualification requirement for Service Representative?
A.  Graduate
Q. What are the areas of operations for HBFC Representative Offices ?
A. Presently, HBFC is interested to open its Representative Offices in these areas:
Fateh Jang
Haripur
Nowshera
Gujar Khan
Kahuta
Q. What are the requirements of Representative Office?
A. Appearance
Conventional office outlook
Minimum space of about 150 sq.ft
Must have Electric and phone connection, washroom and tap water (Preferably)
Must have adequate office furniture including seating arrangement for visitors
Location
Must be located on Ground floor of commercial area.
Prominent Locality, preferably in the vicinity of other Financial Institutions.
Easy public access
Secured environment.
Q. Will HBFC pay some remuneration during training and initial period after selection of Service Representatives?
A. Yes, a fixed amount of Rs.15,000 per month will be paid as subsidy for 12 months after formal opening of Representative Office.
Q. Will HBFC pay operating cost/expenses to the Service Representatives?
A. All the operating cost/expenses like office rental, taxes, charges, phone and electric bills, fuel charges, maintenance, entertainment, marketing etc, shall be borne by the Service Representative.
Q. Who can act as Guarantor of Service Representatives ?
A. Service Representatives will have to provide personal gurantee of two Bank Officers/Government Officers equivalent to BPS-17 & above.
Q. What is the minimum requirement of computer literacy for this job?
A. At least the candidate is aware of operating Personal Computer to write letters, prepare worksheets/statements, scanning of documents, connect to internet and send/receive emails.
Q. Is the Service Representative allowed to employ a Computer Operator, Recovery Collector etc.
A. Yes, the Service Representative can employ as many persons as he wants.
Q. Is there any age restriction for the Service Representatives?
A. No, but preference would be given to young and energetic people.
Q. How much security deposit Service Representatives have to pay?
A. Service Representatives will have to deposit an amount of Rs.100,000/= as security deposit.
Q. Is there any training to be provided by HBFC to Service Representatives?
A. Yes, one week training will be provided at HBFC training centres.
Q. What will be the tenure of contract of Service Representatives?
A. Initial appointment for 3 years, extendable for subsequent term(s) of 3 years.
Q. Whether the contract can be terminated by HBFC?
A. In case of unsatisfactory performance or violation of the terms of appointment, the contract will be terminated by giving 30 days notice.
Q. If Service Representative wants to terminate the contract, what will be the procedure ?
A. The contract can be terminated on the request of the Service Representative by giving three months notice in advance, and after settlement of dues.
Q. What will be the duties and responsibilities of Service Representatives?
A. The Service Representatives will be responsible :-
  • To prepare feasibility reports of all potential areas as well as to pinpoint negative areas of his/her jurisdiction;
  • To market HBFC products;
  • To assist and guide the customers to complete documentations and other formalities for obtaining investment.
  • To verify the genuineness of documents issued by City Government local revenue authorities, Municipal Committee and other departments.
  • To coordinate with the concerned District Office for site inspection and income verification of the clients.
  • To forward the investment applications and relevant documents electronically to District Office for processing thereof.
  • To convey approval of investment to the customer and help to complete the post sanction formalities.
  • To arrange for site inspection.
  • To arrange Registration of Assignment Deed/delivery of cheques.
  • To arrange disbursement of subsequent cheques through District Office
  • To ensure repayment of monthly instalments
  • To recovery the default amount from old defaulters of HBFC if so assigned and agreed by Service Representative (other schemes)
  • To help resolve the queries/problems of the clients by close coordination with the District Office.
  • To help resolve the discrepancies in the partner’s statement of accounts.
  • To forward partner’s request for closing of account/arrange redemption of assigned properties.
  • To protect the interest of the Corporation by providing efficient effective and hassle free services to our clients.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the Corporation.
Q. Whether the Service Representative can continue his own business within the premises of HBFC Representative Office?
A. The Representative office shall exclusively be used for HBFC business and client service. The Service Representative shall not use this office or any part thereof for any other purpose.
Q. Will HBFC provide printed stationery, forms, brochures etc to the Service Representatives ?
A. Yes, HBFC shall provide these items, where as all consumable petty stationery items etc, shall be arranged by the Service Representatives at his own cost.
Q. Who will be responsible for repair and maintenance of equipments?
A. All repairs and maintenance charges of office equipment shall be borne by the Service Representative
